Biden’s Immigrant Invaders Wreaking Havoc on the Highways, CDL Drivers Who Can’t Speak English Causing Wrecks

Overview of the Incident

On the night of March 13, 2025, at approximately 11:23 p.m., a catastrophic multi-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 35 southbound near Parmer Lane in North Austin, Texas. The crash involved 17 vehicles, including a semi-truck, and affected 17 people. Five individuals—three adults, one child, and one infant—were pronounced dead at the scene. Eleven others were injured, with two adults sustaining life-threatening injuries requiring transport to St. David’s Round Rock hospital. The wreckage spanned over a tenth of a mile (approximately 500 feet), complicating emergency response efforts, which included extricating three people from their vehicles.

The driver of the semi-truck, identified as Solomun Weldekeal Araya, 37, was arrested and charged with five counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault. Authorities allege that Araya was under the influence of central nervous system depressants at the time of the crash. An arrest affidavit indicates he failed to slow down for traffic backed up due to construction-related lane closures, which had reduced I-35 from three lanes to one. The highway was closed for nearly 14 hours, reopening around 1 p.m. on March 14, 2025.

Victims

Local officials identified three of the adult victims:

Sergieo Daniel Lopez, 32, and Natalia Helana Perez, 25, were in a silver Volkswagen with an infant and a child.

Ma Concepcion Joaquin De Joaquin, 78, was a passenger in a green Chevrolet pickup that was struck with such force that the rear seats were nearly pushed into the front.

The identities of the child and infant have not been publicly released.

Reporting by Specific Outlets

American Truckers (ATU)

On March 14, 2025, at 7:43 p.m. MDT, American Truckers posted on X, claiming the driver “barely spoke English” and was “almost certainly on a Non-Domicile CDL.” They suggested that “special interest groups have flooded our roads with unvetted, unqualified, untrained drivers,” accompanying the post with a video of a man confronting Araya at the scene. This video, also shared by The Western Journal, shows a trucker accusing Araya of having “blood on his hands” while Araya, wearing flip-flops, responds in broken English and appears shocked.

On March 26, 2025, ATU posted again, praising Bonehead Truckers’ Ike Stephens for “unbelievable reporting” that would “outrage” viewers, linking to a YouTube video by Bonehead Truckers.

March 25, 2025: “MAJOR UPDATE! Austin Truck Wreck Involving FOREIGN TRUCK DRIVER” (14:40) emphasized Araya’s foreign background, aligning with ATU’s narrative.

These videos, promoted via Bonehead Truckers’ social media, including a Facebook group (“Say No To Bonehead Truckers”), focus on trucking fails and safety, framing Araya as a reckless driver. Stephens’ commentary often critiques industry standards and driver qualifications.

The Gateway Pundit

On March 15, 2025, The Western Journal (affiliated with Gateway Pundit’s conservative network) published “Trucker Behind Deadly I-35 Pileup Confronted at Scene of Crash,” featuring the same confrontation video as ATU. It noted an Amazon Prime truck at the scene but clarified it was unclear if Araya drove it. The article highlighted Araya’s limited English and shock, aligning with
